Earth needs help in Mass Effect 3

Bioware have unveiled Mass Effect 3, one of the most highly anticipated games of 2011, after numerous rumours, the premier trailer ‘Earth’ was shown exclusively on the Spike VGA’s. Mass Effect 3 marks the pinnacle of Commander Shepard’s journey and fans will wait in agony until the next year till we find out the fate of himself and his crew as they attempt to save Earth.

Mass Effect 3 is set to be released during the holidays of 2011 on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Windows, which will mark the first time that a title in the Mass Effect franchise will launch on three platforms simultaneously.

If you do not know of the Mass Effect franchise it is an action orientated RPG set in an epic science-fiction universe that is filled with alien life and uncharted planets. The game is most famous for its rich, futuristic storyline and emotionally engaging characters that allows the series to deliver an unparalleled cinematic experience; you just have to watch the start of Mass Effect 2 to know that! With over 35 awards if you haven’t touched the series, why are you waiting?

Mass Effect 2 is available now for Xbox 360 and Windows, however the Mass Effect franchise will be making its debut on the Playstation 3 when Mass Effect 2 is released January 21st 2011 in Europe, if you can’t wait there will be a demo arriving on the Playstation Network December 22nd. Mass Effect 3 will be available around the Holidays of 2011 on Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Windows.
