Tomba! coming to the PSN!

So there are times when living in the UK is the most awesome thing in the world, even for games, however sometimes you just wish you lived in the US; not only are there more developers over there, but they also end up getting a lot of awesome games that will never make it over to our shores, even digital shores!

So MonkeyPaw games have announced that Tomba! or as we Brits like to call it; Tombi! is making its way to the PSone Classics section for the Playstation Network Tuesday 19th June for $9.99, now I'm sorry, but try and find the original game for that much!

If you're unaware of the cult masterpiece, Tombi was the brainchild of Tokuro Fujiwara known for his work on Ghosts'n Goblins and Mega Man, and as one of the first few games to use the Dual Shock it was an innovation of its time, not to mention the fact it was a blissfully fun platformer and RPG rolled into one.

Tomba is undoubtedly a legendary game when it comes to collectors, and many, like us at Gamercast hold it as being one of the best games on the Playstation, its unique three layer environments created new and interesting gameplay, and everyone loves a protagonist that gnaws on everything he sees.
