The last of Paradox’s GDC announcements was one a bit more ‘Paradox’; RED Frontier is a new RTS hoping to introduce a new style of competitive RTS gaming by using the easy to pick up, and easy to play structure of an FPS. Don’t worry, they aren’t going all Savage on you, the game is strictly a multiplayer RTS.
Base building is not the be-all-and-end-all of RED Frontier, instead you take on the role of a commander with an arsenal of combat droids, vehicles and specific abilities such as deployable gun turrets, minefields, and everyone’s favourite; orbital rocket strikes!
