Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale officially announced

In case you hadn't read the rumours surfacing on the internet for the past month or so, or the explosion of 'that-sony-character-brawler' then you'll be surprised to hear of Sony's official announcement of Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale, a Playstation 3 exclusive in production at SuperBot Entertainment. If you like labels, then this is Super Smash Bros for the PS3; featuring all of the iconic Sony characters from the entire Playstation catalogue.

The whole Playstation catalogue? You ask? Surely not? Well with the likes of Kratos, Sweet Tooth, Parappa the Rapper and Fat Princess Sony have already turned a few heads, as well as with Killzone's Colonel Radec and Sly Cooper among others that remain in secrecy for the time being.

" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen> is very surprising is that it has also been confirmed that third-party gaming heroes will also be present for use in battle, so they've got a wide spectrum of which to pick and choose. Much like HAL's Smash Bros. All-Stars Battle Royale will include special attacks, themed stages and remixed music to fit with all of the characters.

There is no release date as of yet, but the inclusion of the loveable Parappa, the game is sold for us already, here's hoping they have a playable build at E3 so we can kick, punch, chop our way to success.
