New Releases this week 19/11/10

With the new Assassin's Creed out this week for the masses of fans of the series there will be little else on most gamers' minds, however there is a nice selection of games out if you aren't interested in Ezio's tale through Rome. You can chase down some racers in Hot Pursuit or kill some pure-blood wizards in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1. There is definitely something for everyone this week, here's our pick of the best releases.

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood
Xbox 360, Playstation 3

It's the franchise that everyone knows and loves, Assassin's Creed is back in sort of a 2.5 manner. Incorporating the loveable Parkour nature of the series, Brotherhood sees you reprising the role of Ezio. What a lot of fans are excited about is the new multiplayer aspect that Brotherhood will feature, allowing for players to take part in assassination games with others around the world.


Need For Speed Hot Pursuit
Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Windows

Criterion's reboot of the much loved Hot Pursuit series is here, play as cops or robbers in this fast paced, hi-octane racer that is immense fun. Although there is no split screen, het ready to Sting, EMP and have Helicopters dispatch your rivals online today! Arcade racing has never been this fun!


Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1
Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Nintendo Wii, DS, Windows

Harry Potter returns in the game that every fan has been waiting for; not only has Harry grown up, but so has the gameplay in this 3rd-person-shooter-esque title that sees you attack pure blood wizards a plenty in the first half of the film adaptations to coincide with the release of the successful films. With Kinect support on the Xbox 360, Deathly Hallows Part 1 will be a blast for fans of the little wizard.


Create
Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Windows, Nintendo Wii

Create is a new chain-reaction style sandbox title from EA, the aim of the game is to get one object from A to B by utilising other objects to act upon yours in a domino-like effect, with Playstation Move support Create looks to be a pretty fun family game as well as one for the Little Big Planet fans waiting for the release of LBP2 in January.


Prince of Persia Trilogy HD
Playstation 3

The most important Prince of Persia titles in the series are revamped in this exclusive Playstation 3 title, relive the classic trilogy that was released on the Xbox and Playstation 2 in all its HD glory on your PS3. With a cheap RRP of £30 no one can say no to the prince that controls time itself.


Crazy Taxi
PSN, Xbox Live

Although it is not out on the Xbox Live Arcade until November 24th, Crazy Taxi's HD remake is already out on PSN. This classic arcade title has been digitally re-mastered in 720p with Surround Sound. It'll be just how you remember it as you race through packed streets to get your clients to their destinations on time, and with the low price of 800 MSP/£7.99 you're crazy if you don't wish to relive this fantastic game.


With the ultimate arcade classic Crazy Taxi or the revamp of Prince of Persia you will be generously sated with nostalgia, however hard-core current generation gamers will be swooned by Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit; we personally cannot wait for Crazy Taxi on Xbox Live Arcade, and we've all been having massive fun casting Stupefy and Expulso in Harry Potter through Kinect.
