Rising Star Games have announced that the followup to one of the best-selling casual games of 2009 — Jewel Master: Cradle of Rome - which will launch on the Nintendo DS in June. Jewel Master: Cradle of Egypt is an addictive Match-3 puzzle game with an engaging resource mechanic, in order to clear a level, players must match three or more of the same tiles to smash the blue marble slabs beneath within the time limit.

However, unlike most tile switching games such as Bejewled and the personal favourite Jewel Quest, Jewel Master’s cradle series contains a real purpose in the gameplay; as each tile represents a different item; gold, building materials, and food; successfully matching these tiles gives the player more resources to rebuild the ancient Egyptian civilisation.
