Damn, I have missed a lot of gamercasts lately. Been very busy with school and other stuff. I hope the next gamercast is live, that would rock!
Doom 3 worked OK for me. But sometimes I would just get a blank, black screen after a level load. Doing an Alt-tab out and back into Doom 3 would fix the issue.
A few things I'm going to comment on:
"Wester never gave me the password, so he can fuck off. He never pays me anything anyway."
What kind of calumny are you trying to ingratiate people with? I gave you the damn password to the site, check your bleeding chatlogs. And how do you anticipate money out of me? Or, to be more studious, how CAN you?
As for VALVe's rickety boxes... well... it's ideal you purchase things via Steam anyway. And you should be playing through Half-Life 2: Episode One... unless you've forgotten Half-Life 2's story.
And as for Halo 3 being the "Return of the King", that's not a lambent thing in my mind as ROTK is actually my least favorite of the LOTR trilogy (referring to the movies, and not the infinitely superior books, mind you) - it didn't cohere well as it could have, it felt a bit rushed and tried to be too great - almost as if it was pretentious, and the 4 divergent endings didn't help.
Yeah. I'm not around cause the forums have succumbed to a sordid level of nonsensical drivel and spam that only gets worse everyday. Considering how the community treated me and still even treats me to this day when I'm not omnipresent or just present alone, I see no reason to return to such a pitiable land.
Selling the Half-Life site is also an inane thing. Don't you realize that I've still been adding news and content? Even changing the Poll? Attempting to be uppity, aren't you?
Well I'll stop here as I don't want to get chastised by you any more severely.
That is all.
Um some people do like to own the game with a box instead of just buying a file off the internet, I agree with Paul, they should have put more detail and thought into HL2's retail box and it should come with a full on manual.
And I don't think Paul is gonna pay for episode 1
yeah me agree, though I am pretty sure the majority of people agree with you wester; there are a select few people like myself, that prefer things in boxes, and I always shell out for limited editions etc just cos they have a prettier box, or a mouse mat etc.
I mean, we went and bought the gold package, they could of at least given you the game and a manual, and especially a jewel case for the soundtrack.
Its always nice as a matter of ease and space when boxes aren't involved, but I find them pretty ^^

What? I don't see alot of spam on the forums except for the Oblivion forums and everyone knows not to go there. Wester, everyone wants you back. That means me too. I don't see why you have to leave.
Paul plays WoW? A good review on WoW though.
hey guys,
not listened to the show yet, not had chance, work is a pain and... well i wont bore you, BUT
i bought hl2 ep1 last night, must say, an ABSOLUTELY AWESOME game, from what others say, i find it easy to order through steam and i love it like that but i have the original half life in the box, half life 2 and half life blueshift all in the boxes, i would like ep1 in a box, cant find one for love nor money, honestly havent a clue whether they do one or not, either way i probably wont play it again once ive completed it.
