I just wondered what you guys have heard and think of the newly release Wolfdale processor (E8000 series)?
Howdy guys, long time no speak.
Anyways, a few days ago i was rummaging through my closet and found an old joystick and throttle, which brought me back to the days of microsoft combat flight simulators 2 and 3. i've resparked an interest in the genre, and was wondering if there are any good (hell, even decent) combat flight sims on the PC currently?
flight sims are imo generally good in one area but lacking in others, for example controls are good but graphics are not quite so good. thing is im not too sure if there is much brought out often enough to be considered recent. microsoft combat flight 3 is right up there as i think this is the best trade off between controls/graphics etc, battle of britain was ok if the lack of multiplayer and stability didnt turn you off from the game, and one of my personal favourites was blazing angels, that too wasnt without its flaws (being taken from the console and dropped straight onto a pc wasnt a good move)
also I will "try" to join the live show today, cant make any promises.
