Following on from the announcement of the new instalment in the Thief series back in March thanks to Game Informer, Square Enix have now released a short CG teaser trailer for us to enjoy while we eagerly await glimpses of gameplay footage.

The video shows off Garrett being a bit sneaky, but then ends on action, which is of course all down to player choice in the full game, as smashing through a window would cause quite the commotion. Player choice has always been a big element of the Thief series, but of course the way it's best played should be stealthily

The video also confirms that it's in development for Windows, Playstation 4 and other next-generation consoles which have yet to be announced. Thief is being developed by Eidos-Montreal and is set for a release in the future at some point presumably during 2014. Fingers crossed we get to see more of Thief at this year's E3.
