The wait is finally over! Microsoft Flight is now available to download for free, and it looks absolutely beautiful! Players can take to the sky with a mere mouse, or tailor the controls to match their skill level, making it easy for beginners and challenging for the most accomplished pilots.

After downloading the game for free, players can jump into the possible hours of gameplay on the Island of Hawaii, in addition, those that sign in with their Games for Windows LIVE account will automatically receive additional free content including the Boeing Stearman plane, extra missions and access to Achievements and an Online Pilot Profile.

The first optional content pack also available now is The Hawaiian Adventure Pack which includes the remaining Hawaiian Islands, the Vans RV-6A and 20 new missions and will be available to purchase on the same day as the release via Games for Windows Live for 1600 Microsoft Points.

There are also two planes available for purchase; the Maule M-7-260C, and the North American P-51 Mustang. Microsoft Flight is available to download worldwide for free today, it's been a long time coming, but boy does it look and feel good!
