Taking F.E.A.R. to the next level

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment are pleased to announce that F.E.A.R. 3, which promises intense combat, an evolved cover system, a compelling narrative; co-written by comic writer genius Steve Niles, co-op play that is assured to evolve the franchise to the next level of FPS gaming, and a hell of a lot more scares!

Monolith Productions have passed up F.E.A.R. 3 to relative new-comers Day 1 Studios who aided Monolith in porting F.E.A.R. to the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, as well as more recently developing Fracture.

The ghostly Alma returns in F.E.A.R. 3, and her sons Point Man and Paxton Fettel introduce the divergent co-op promised, giving players distinctly different abilities, you can play as Point Man; a genetically enhanced super solider introduced in F.E.A.R., or his brother Paxton Fettel, whose incredible telekinetic powers have given him life beyond the grave. To ensure that F.E.A.R. 3 will supply its fans with extreme terror, legendary horror director John Carpenter (Halloween, The Thing) has provided consultation with Day 1 Studios to ensure that F.E.A.R. 3 will contain more than just five second scares, and to enhance the frightening aspects that the original F.E.A.R. was renowned for. The heart-pounding paranormal horror first-person shooter is set to be released on Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC Autumn 2010.
