Everyone loves Ubisoft, they bring us great titles like Assassin's Creed, Rayman, Ghost Recon, Anno and all the countless other games they've brought us over the two and a bit decades they've been around.
Well Ubisoft want to give something back to their fans, they want to send one super lucky fan to E3, however if you don't make first they're giving away a few other great prizes too.
All you have to do to win a chance to attend this year's E3 on behalf of Ubisoft is send them a video you've made about a Ubisoft game. It's open to all members of the public so what have you got to lose? Get your video camera, webcams and mobile phones out and start recording a video.
You have the chance to win the following:
1st prize: an invitation to the E3 2012 event in Los Angeles, in the United States, from June 3rd 2012 to June 7th 2012, including a Paris-Los Angeles return plane ticket and 4 nights’ accommodation on the spot. You also get an exclusive invitation to the Ubisoft conference and have backstage meetings with dev teams and producers from Ubisoft's games.
2nd prize: a Microsoft Xbox 360 250 Slim console, with a standard edition of Ghost Recon Future Soldier and two Xbox 360 Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Pro Wired GamePad.
3rd to 5th prize: one standard edition of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier, one Ghost Recon: Future Soldier Pro Wired GamePad and one Monterigioni hoodie from Insert Coin Ltd.
6th and 7th prize: one Monterigioni hoodie from Insert Coin Ltd and two entries to Eurogamer expo in London on September 27-30 2012.
If you want to win any of these prizes you must abide by the following terms and conditions.
- You must be over the age of 21 and reside in the United Kingdom
- You must have a valid passport to travel to the US in June
- You must be featured in the video, as well as your Uplay ID.
- Your video should not exceed 5 min. in length
- You must have the rights to use video and music featured in the video.
- Your video should not be offensive, nor contain inappropriate behaviour or illegal material
- Your video must be submitted via the form below before 11.59pm on May 3rd 2012 (London Time)
So record you videos following the above terms, pop them on YouTube and enter the competition on the Uplay website. I've also been told that you don't necessarily have to create a video explaining why you should win, but you can also just show or explain how much of a Ubisoft fan you are, by cosplaying as your favourite character, showing off your collection, or whatever interesting thing you can think of.
We're already attending E3 this year but the 2nd-7th prizes are pretty sweet so we'll try and get an entry in soon, will you be entering to try and win this great prize?
