The folks at Neocoregames recently announced the release date of The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II, well unfortunately they didn't expect a monstrous invasion... ok, so there wasn't a monster invasion, but fortunately they don't wish to give their fans an unpolished game, so they figured an extra bit of time would allow them to ensure that the sequel is superior to the original in every aspect.

We can now expect to see The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II May 22nd, marking the anniversary of the original's release! After the roaring success of their gothic-noir-steampunk-kitchen-sink-action-RPG The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing will be returning for a sequel this year.

The incredible monster hunter will be back, literally, as you'll be able to import your save from the original game and continue his journey onwards with his ever charming ghostly companion Lady Katarina in a beautiful medley of fast paced action, mysterious science and beautiful fantasy characters. That said this will not simply be an expansion, and those that haven't yet enjoyed The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing, can still enjoy the sequel and make a brand new Van Helsing.

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing II will be available May 22nd for PC, and can be pre-ordered now.
