Sesame Street is invading the Xbox 360 this September

If like me you're a child of the late eighties then you'll have spent your waking childhood glued to the TV screen watching Sesame Street on Channel 4 in the morning and afternoon, everyone knows the classic songs, but children these days are somewhat deprived of the truely American show.

Well Microsoft are bringing Sesame Street back to the UK with Kinect Sesame Street TV a new 2-way TV experience that allows children to 'jump' into the classic show, engage, interact and learn thanks to the Xbox 360 and Kinect.

Kinect Sesame Street TV will retail at £29.99 or 2400 MS Points that will give you access to eight 30-minute episodes available at local retailers and download via a Season Pass on Xbox Live, alternatively individual episodes can be purchased for 400 points each.

I'm just a little disappointed because I know that the 1,2,3,4,5 pinball song, Detective Work and Teeny Little Super Guy are just not going to be in it. Kinect Sesame Street TV will come to life via Xbox Live September 18th, and much like Doublefine's Once Upon a Monster it will be time to discover if you really do have a small child just wishing to get out.
