Paul

Paul was the original brains behind Gamercast, he had been keen on getting some form of podcast up and running through most of 2005 to better compliment his collection of 'Portal' gaming websites which had some limited success. By November, just before the launch of the Xbox 360, Paul slapped Adam into doing Gamercast, which kicked things off to a quick and dirty start. Since then things have only gotten better. Gaming wise, he mainly plays first person shooters and strategy games on the PC.

Well known as the Victor Meldrew of gaming he always has something to moan about. He also prides himself in being able to find fault in anything. On the show he makes sure to keep everyone else grounded in what he sees as the somewhat plagued and grim reality in which the gaming industry apparently exists. Of course from his point of view it is all about making things better.

You can often find Paul lurking on the interwebs, giving people technical support, sometimes you'll find him at work, other times he'll be a parliamentary candidate for this or that, or sat doing nothing thinking, the next day he might be taking photos of Saturn, and then maybe, just maybe you'll find him playing a game for a few minutes before going off and doing something else. Somehow he manages to squeeze in several hours a week to record and edit Gamercast.

Catherine

Catherine has always loved games, from a very early age, she now works in the games industry and is a co-host and news editor for Gamercast. She started helping out during the summer of 2009 and has since then been a great asset to the Gamercast website.

Current gaming wise you can find her playing mainly on her Xbox 360, PS3 or DS, and also occasionally on her PC. Her favourite genres lie in most with the exception of realistic sports. Her all-time favourite games are Jet Set Radio, Shenmue, Katamari Damashii, the Shin Megami Tensei series, Chibi Robo and anything created by NanaOn-Sha. Her current favourite game is Alan Wake and its two pieces of DLC.
