The current patch (1.0.0.3) has still not resolved the random crashing issue, and manually saving the game every few minutes gets tedious very quickly. Perhaps I'm dense but I have not yet found a way to set up autosaving or a hotkey for quicksaves. Automated watering of crops was added this patch.
